Blood markers vs. clinical scores: which best predicts sepsis outcomes?
NCT ID NCT07464054
First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether certain blood markers (like NLR, PLR, PNI, and SII) can predict how severe sepsis will be and who might die from it. Researchers will compare these markers to standard scoring systems (SOFA and APACHE) in 61 ICU patients. The goal is to find a simpler, faster way to assess risk, but this study does not test any new treatment.
