Blood test clues could help doctors spot the sickest sepsis patients
NCT ID NCT07464054
Summary
This study aims to see if simple blood markers, like ratios of different blood cells, can help predict how severe sepsis will be and whether a patient might survive. Researchers will compare these blood markers to standard clinical scoring systems used in intensive care. The goal is to find better tools for early identification of high-risk patients to guide their care.
