First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a portable device called SENSE to see if it can quickly and accurately detect traumatic brain injury (TBI) and internal bleeding. Researchers will enroll 150 adults aged 22 and older, including those with and without brain injury, plus healthy volunteers. The goal is to compare the device's results with standard CT scans to determine if it can reliably identify who needs urgent care.
