First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will observe 460 adults with diabetes who take semaglutide (a drug for diabetes) to see if those with nerve damage (neuropathy) are more likely to develop stomach retention, where food stays in the stomach too long. Participants will be split into two groups: those with neuropathy and those without. The goal is to understand if neuropathy increases the risk of this side effect, helping doctors make safer treatment decisions.
