Tiny implant could replace weekly Weight-Loss shots

NCT ID NCT07430059

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a small, under-the-skin implant that slowly releases the weight-management medication semaglutide. It will compare the safety and drug levels of this single 4-week implant against four weekly injections of the same drug. The goal is to see if the implant is a safe and convenient alternative for people with overweight or obesity.
