Summary
This early study tests a small implant placed under the skin that releases semaglutide (the drug in Wegovy) over 4 weeks. It compares the implant to weekly injections in 20 healthy overweight or obese adults. The goal is to see if the implant is safe and how it affects drug levels in the body.
