First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how the weight-loss drug semaglutide changes the gut bacteria in 40 adults with obesity. Participants will take semaglutide for 12 weeks, and researchers will analyze their stool samples to see how the bacteria in their intestines shift. The goal is to better understand how semaglutide works, not to test a new treatment.
