New balloon treatment could keep leg arteries open longer

Summary

This study tests a special balloon coated with a drug (SELUTION SLR 018) to treat blocked arteries in the leg. About 300 people with peripheral artery disease will get either the drug-coated balloon or a standard balloon. The goal is to see if the drug-coated balloon keeps the artery open longer and reduces the need for repeat procedures.
