Could a targeted drug boost chemo for biliary cancer?

Summary
This study tests whether adding the targeted drug selumetinib to standard chemotherapy (cisplatin and gemcitabine) helps shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with advanced biliary tract or gallbladder cancer. About 57 adults who have not had prior treatment will receive either the drug combo on one of two schedules or chemo alone. The goal is to compare tumor response and survival, while monitoring side effects.
