At-Home test boosts cervical cancer screening in underscreened women
NCT ID NCT05656976
First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving women a free self-sampling device (SSD) through their general practitioner can increase cervical cancer screening rates. It includes women aged 31-64 who haven't had a smear test in the last 6 years. The goal is to see if offering the SSD in person or by mail works better than just sending reminder letters.
