Can a simple massage ease Mothers' Post-Birth pain? pilot study tests the waters

NCT ID NCT05908292

Summary

This small pilot study aimed to see if it's practical to run a larger trial on self-massage for childbirth scars. Researchers recruited 14 first-time mothers within a year of delivery to test if they could follow a 6-week self-massage program using an instructional video. The main goal was to check if future studies could recruit enough participants and if the massage routine was easy and acceptable for mothers to do at home.
