Can brain training stop Prison's revolving door?
NCT ID NCT05966831
Summary
This study tested whether a mental training program, combined with virtual reality job interview practice, could help formerly incarcerated people improve their self-control and reduce the chance of returning to jail. Researchers compared two groups of 21 participants from a Michigan re-entry program to see if the training affected employment rates and re-offending. The trial was terminated early, so results are limited.
