Summary

This study is testing a new program that gives parents special children's books and advice during regular doctor visits. The goal is to see if this approach can help improve behavior and early reading skills in 2- to 4-year-old African American children. Researchers will enroll about 134 parent-child pairs to compare the new program against standard care.
