New device could free women from frequent doctor visits for pelvic condition
NCT ID NCT07084818
Summary
This study is testing whether a new collapsible pessary device allows women with pelvic organ prolapse to manage their condition themselves at home. Currently, patients must visit a doctor's office 2-4 times per year for pessary care. The research will compare satisfaction and treatment burden between women who switch to self-care with the new device and those who continue with regular office visits.
