NCT ID NCT07163572

Summary

This study directly compared two intravenous medications, brivaracetam and levetiracetam, for stopping prolonged, dangerous seizures (status epilepticus) in children. It involved 152 participants aged one month to 16 years to see which drug stopped seizures faster and with fewer side effects. The goal was to provide clearer evidence to help doctors choose the best emergency treatment for children.
