NCT ID NCT07088835

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a small device worn in the ear can safely and accurately detect seizures by measuring brain waves. Researchers will first try it on 5 healthy people, then on 10 people with epilepsy who are already scheduled for a standard scalp EEG. The goal is to see if the in-ear device works as well as the traditional method, which could make seizure monitoring more comfortable and convenient.
