First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether a new device called Seismofit can accurately measure a person's maximum oxygen use (VO2 Max) while they rest, compared to the standard test that requires cycling. Thirty healthy adults aged 18 to 65 took part. The goal was to see if the Seismofit could be a simpler, faster way to check fitness levels.
