First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a small, wearable patch that measures heart function from outside the body, aiming to help doctors adjust heart failure medications remotely and on time. The patch is designed to be low-cost and safe, avoiding the need for surgical implants. Researchers will enroll 200 adults with moderate to severe heart failure to see if the patch reduces hospitalizations related to their condition.
