NCT ID NCT05525325

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether using sedation (keeping patients sleepy but breathing on their own) is better than general anesthesia (being fully asleep with a breathing tube) for people having a specific type of stroke. About 128 adults with a blocked artery in the back of the brain will be included. The goal is to see which method leads to better recovery and fewer complications.
