First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining two sedative drugs (remimazolam and propofol) can improve success and comfort during a procedure called drug-induced sleep endoscopy, used to evaluate obstructive sleep apnea. About 174 adults with sleep apnea will receive one of two sedation methods. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to complete the exam without extra rescue medication.
