Safer sedation sought for risky blood pressure procedure
NCT ID NCT07293273
Summary
This study looked back at 142 patients who had a procedure to calm overactive nerves near the kidneys to treat hard-to-control high blood pressure. It compared two different sedation (sleepiness-inducing) drug combinations used during the procedure to see which one led to fewer safety problems and a smoother recovery. The goal is to help doctors choose the safest sedation approach for these patients.
