Study tests which sedation cocktail works best for stomach scopes
NCT ID NCT07190612
Summary
This study aims to find the best sedation combination for adults having an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy—a procedure where a camera examines the stomach and esophagus. Researchers will compare three different drug mixes paired with propofol to see which leads to smoother sedation, quicker recovery, and fewer side effects. The goal is to improve patient comfort and safety during these common medical procedures.
