First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at 201 adults with chronic back pain who received a type of steroid injection for their pain. Researchers compared those who got sedation (medicine to relax) during the procedure to those who did not. The goal was to see if sedation changed how satisfied patients were, how much radiation they were exposed to, or how many complications occurred.
