New combo sedation may make heart procedures safer for kids

Summary
This study looks at whether a mix of two sedatives (dexmedetomidine and ketamine) can work as well as standard general anesthesia for children undergoing heart catheterization. About 150 children under 18 will be observed to see if the new method provides enough sedation without extra risks. The goal is to find a safer, effective option for these young patients.
