Study tests which sedation lets patients think clearly fastest after surgery
NCT ID NCT07267377
Summary
This study compared three common sedation drug combinations used during minor outpatient gynecologic surgery to see which one helps patients recover their thinking abilities fastest after the procedure. Researchers randomly assigned 120 women to receive one of the sedation methods and then tested their mental sharpness before and after surgery. The goal was to find the safest sedation approach that allows for quicker, clearer recovery so patients can go home sooner.
