Finding the gentler sleep: study tests sedation for sick kids
NCT ID NCT07438834
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to keep children with pneumonia comfortable while they are on a breathing machine. It will compare two common sedation methods: a steady drip of medicine versus planned daily breaks. Researchers will measure comfort levels in about 100 children aged 5-10 to see which approach works better.
