Clearer minds after surgery? study tests new sedative for seniors

NCT ID NCT07113483

Summary

This study is comparing two sedation medicines (Remimazolam and Midazolam) given to patients 65 and older during bone surgery. The main goal is to see which drug helps patients wake up with clearer thinking and fewer memory problems in the first few days after surgery. Researchers will also track side effects, recovery time, and patient comfort to help doctors choose the best option for older patients.
