Summary
This study tested a drug called secukinumab in 137 Chinese adults with a type of spinal arthritis (non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis) that causes back pain and stiffness. The goal was to see if the drug improves symptoms more than a placebo after 16 weeks, and to check its safety over 52 weeks. Participants received injections under the skin, and the main measure was a 40% improvement in key disease areas like pain and function.
