Summary
This study tested a liquid called silver diamine fluoride (SDF) that is painted onto cavities to stop them from getting worse. 104 children aged 1.5 to 8 years with cavities in baby teeth were treated with SDF every six months, with or without extra fluoride varnish every three months. The goal was to see if the cavities hardened and stopped growing over two years.
