First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study explores whether a single-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) combined with machine learning can help screen for pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). Researchers will enroll 500 adults who need testing for this condition. They will record a 1-minute ECG and analyze the data using a computer model to see if it can accurately identify clots, without changing standard care.
