First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at 120 people having surgery for gastrointestinal cancer to see how well different risk scoring systems predict serious complications or death within 30 to 60 days after the operation. The goal was to find out which scoring tool works best to help doctors plan care. The study did not test any new treatment, but aimed to improve how we estimate surgical risks.
