Researchers probe link between teen scoliosis and arm strength

NCT ID NCT07249515

Summary

This study aims to understand how the spinal curvature from adolescent idiopathic scoliosis affects shoulder blade position and arm performance. Researchers will measure teens' shoulder alignment and test their arm strength to see how these relate to the severity of their spinal curve. The goal is to gather information that could help physical therapists design better exercise and rehabilitation programs for teens with scoliosis.
