New hope for scleroderma patients with scarred lungs

Summary

This study aims to test several new investigational drugs to see if they can slow or stop the progression of lung scarring in people with scleroderma. It will enroll 400 adults who have had scleroderma symptoms for 7 years or less and have evidence of lung involvement. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either one of the new drugs or a placebo for 52 weeks to compare their effects on lung function.
