Doctors test if scissors cut down C-Section blood loss

NCT ID NCT07199621

Summary

This study aims to see if using surgical scissors instead of a scalpel to make the initial cut in the uterus during a planned C-section leads to less blood loss for the mother. It will involve 140 pregnant women aged 18-40 having an elective C-section. The goal is to find a safer surgical technique to reduce a common complication.
