Summary
This study tested whether a new foam mouth sanitizer that works as both toothpaste and mouthwash can reduce tooth sensitivity and whiten teeth. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Scigates Foam Mouth Sanitizer 2 in 1 Toothpaste and Mouthwash
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, dual-purpose product for people with sensitive teeth and mild staining.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed post-marketing study with only 57 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The product is already on the market, so this is not a breakthrough.
