ER trial tests quick shot for agonizing sciatica pain
NCT ID NCT07397117
Summary
This study is testing if a targeted nerve-block injection provides better pain relief than standard care for adults coming to the emergency room with severe sciatica. Researchers will compare pain levels and walking ability between two groups: one receiving the injection and one receiving usual treatments. The goal is to find a faster, more effective way to manage this intense, shooting back and leg pain in the ER.
