Needles and electricity: new hope for stubborn sciatica pain?
NCT ID NCT07373808
Summary
This study is testing whether a treatment that uses gentle electrical current delivered through thin needles near the sciatic nerve, combined with a guided exercise program, can better relieve long-term sciatica pain. Researchers will compare this approach to three other common treatments to see which works best. The goal is to find a safe, effective alternative to medications or surgery for people who have had sciatica pain for more than six months.
