One-Month pill could stop TB in schools

Summary
This study is testing if a new, much shorter one-month tuberculosis (TB) prevention treatment works as well as the standard three-month treatment. It involves over 3,500 students and school staff in China who have been exposed to someone with active TB at school but do not have the active disease themselves. The goal is to find a more manageable way to prevent TB from developing in young people and stop its spread in school settings.
