Schools trial new program to combat teen loneliness
NCT ID NCT07154225
Summary
This study tests whether connecting lonely students with community activities through school support workers is better than simple signposting at reducing loneliness. Researchers will enroll 215 students across 30 English schools who report feeling lonely. Students will either receive personalized support sessions or basic information, with their loneliness and wellbeing tracked for one year.
