Can mindfulness stop teen behavior problems before they start?

Summary

This study is testing three different school-based programs designed to prevent serious conduct problems in high school students who show early warning signs. About 120 students will be randomly assigned to try either a mindfulness program, the same program with a supporting mobile app, or a life skills program. Researchers will measure changes in behavior and self-control through surveys from students, parents, and teachers over several months.
