Can free school lunches make kids healthier and happier?
NCT ID NCT07389421
Summary
This study aims to understand if providing free, healthy school meals improves children's health, well-being, and learning. It will follow about 3,200 Danish schoolchildren aged 10-15 for 1.5 years, comparing those who receive free meals with those who do not. Researchers will measure health, weight, thinking skills, and happiness through simple tests and surveys to see if the meals make a difference.
