Can a classroom lesson boost teen HPV vaccination rates?

NCT ID NCT07266857

Summary

This study looked at whether a school health education program might influence parents' decisions about the HPV vaccine for their children. Researchers compared vaccination consent and coverage data from one middle school that used the educational materials to general data from the surrounding region. The goal was to understand if teaching students about HPV in class is linked to higher vaccine acceptance, using only anonymous, group-level information.
