Comic books battle school absences in COVID fight

NCT ID NCT04859699

Summary

This study tested whether simple comic books and videos about COVID-19 risks could help keep elementary school students in the classroom. Researchers worked with 14 schools in Washington state to see if this communication encouraged families to get their children tested for COVID and follow safety measures. The main goal was to reduce the number of school days kids missed due to illness.
