First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called paired associative stimulation (PAS) affects working memory in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will use brain scans (EEG) and memory tasks to measure changes over one week. The goal is to understand brain function, not to provide a treatment. Participants must be 18 or older, clinically stable, and diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.
