Summary

This study aims to find out how common schistosomiasis (a parasitic worm infection) is in Assiut, Egypt. Researchers will test stool and urine samples from 359 people aged 5 and older who are suspected of having the infection. The goal is to identify the types of parasites present and understand what factors put people at risk, to help guide future public health efforts.
