First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether early laser and light therapy can make surgical scars look and feel better after major body-contouring procedures like tummy tucks or arm lifts. About 150 adults will either receive laser treatments or standard care. Researchers will track scar appearance, symptoms like itching, and patient satisfaction for six months after surgery.
