Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether verteporfin, a drug injected into the skin during tummy tuck surgery, can reduce scar formation. Twelve adults will receive different doses of verteporfin and a placebo in separate parts of their surgical wound. Researchers will compare scar appearance after 3 months using a standard rating scale.
