First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested how much discomfort people feel when transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is applied to different scalp spots and with different pulse patterns. Twenty healthy adults rated their pain using a questionnaire. The goal was to find the most tolerable settings and see if the knee can be used as a practice spot before scalp treatment.
