Summary

This study tested whether an oral medication called deucravacitinib could clear or nearly clear scalp psoriasis better than a placebo. It involved 154 adults with moderate-to-severe scalp psoriasis who had not gotten enough relief from topical creams. Researchers measured how well the drug reduced scalp redness, thickness, scaliness, and itch over 16 weeks.
