Cold cap trial aims to save hair during cancer therapy
NCT ID NCT07474558
Summary
This study is testing whether cooling the scalp during cancer treatment can help prevent hair loss. Researchers will enroll 102 women with advanced solid tumors who are receiving specific antibody-drug conjugate treatments. They'll compare hair loss between those who use a scalp cooling system during treatment and those who don't, while also measuring how hair loss affects quality of life.
